American Heart Association CPR Certification/Recertification

Date: Thursday, April 8

Time: 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Place: Total Rehab and Fitness, 1111 Marlkress Road Suite 103, Cherry Hill

Cost: $40 (25% off most two-year certification courses.)

Certification is good for two years. To expedite collecting payments, please bring cash the day of the event.

South Jersey Networking Night

Meet and mingle with South Jersey professionals and business owners. This event — hosted by the Relay for Life of Medford — includes raffles, light refreshments and more! There is no cost for attendance, but donations are encouraged.

Share Our Strength's Taste of Princeton

The Share our Strength's 18th Annual Taste of the Nation Princeton fundraiser will be held on Monday, April 26, 2010 at The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village. Share our Strength Taste of the Nation was started to showcase some of the finest food and beverage offerings in the area and raise funds to support the organization. is a national organization that works to combat childhood hunger in the United States.

The Mercer County event is also a showcase for slow food restaurants like Tre Piani and Eno Terra who support local farms and businesses. Other participating restaurants include The Brothers Moon, The Blue Rooster Bakery & Café, Chambers Walk, Frog and Peach, Rocky Hill Tavern and Salt Creek Grille.

All funds raised at this event will go to support families and individuals at Mercer Street Friends, Isles, HomeFront and the Food Bank of South Jersey.
